If you’re a reader of delible ink, you’ll know that (a) I’m taking part in Movember, an international effort to make men look like twits raise awareness and money to help fight prostate cancer, which attacks 1 in 6 men worldwide, and that (b) I’ve recently had a fun challenge thrown my way in this regard.  The short version of the challenge is that for every day I take a creative photograph – i.e. something other than a mugshot – of me and my mo’ (heavy focus on the mo’) and post it to my Flickr page this photoblog, a friend pledged she would donate $5 to my Movember donation page.

I threw that challenge out to the wind and it’s been picked and built upon by a number of … women.  Yes, the ladies have been incredibly generous, both with their pledged donations as well as with their creative suggestions.  Most creative of those: a photo of me with my mo’ and my mo’torbike, CHiPs style.  Nice.

Well, the lads have this morning jumped in on the action and, if you knew the lad this wouldn’t surprise you, but Chris has thrown down the gauntlet, building on the CHiPs challenge.  Writing in from the tropical island of Newfoundland:

Sign me up for the [$5/mo'pho'] thing.  I’ll throw in another $50 if you can get you picture taken on a police motor bike with the helmet and the Ray Bans.  Do it.
